The City of Brampton is providing significant reductions to the City’s portion of residential development charges for eligible residential projects.

• 50 per cent reduction for eligible residential dwelling types
• 65 per cent reduction for eligible condominium apartments in buildings of at least five storeys that are registered as a condominium at occupancy​
• Program period: March 31, 2026 to March 30, 2029
  

The DCRP reduces eligible City development charges. It is not a direct grant to developers. Other applicable development charges, fees and development-related costs continue to apply.
