Desktop Registration System Video Tutorials General Overview Create an Account Program Registration Purchasing a Membership Facility Availability Mobile Registration App FAQ’s and Tutorial Videos How do I download the app?To download the app, go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and search for “Brampton Rec.” Then, download and install the app on your device.How do I log into the app?Log in using your existing City of Brampton recreation account credentials.If you are new and do not have an existing account, visit https://cityofbrampton.perfectmind.com/ to create one. You can then use those credentials to log into the app. If you have forgotten your password, tap Forgot Password. A temporary password will be emailed to you. Can I use biometric login (Face ID or Touch ID)?Yes. You can enable biometric login when prompted during setup, or you can turn it on later by going to Account > Settings and switching on the biometric login option.How do I access my digital membership card?Tap the Membership ID tab on the bottom menu. Swipe to view cards for other family members. How do I purchase a membership card? Tap the Browse tab to view Membership options. Select a Membership. Add Members/Attendees.Next, tap View Cart > Checkout > Select Payment Method > Confirm Purchase. How do I find my membership details?Go to the Account tab and tap Memberships. Select a family member’s name to view their memberships. You can toggle between Active and Inactive memberships.What payment methods does the app support?Currently, the app only supports credit card payments. Additional options—such as ActiveAssist, subsidies, and credit balance—will be available in future updates. How do I find a drop-in program or course?Tap the Browse tab and choose between Courses, Drop-ins, or All Activities. You can also use the search bar with natural language (for example, “yoga weekday mornings”), or tap the Filters button in the top-right corner to refine by keywords, type, location, date, days of the week, time, age, or category. How do I register for a program?Find the program you want and tap Register. Select the participant(s), complete any required questionnaires, then tap Add to Cart. Next, tap View Cart > Checkout > Select Payment Method > Confirm Purchase. Please note: Only Credit Card payment is supported at the moment. A countdown timer will appear, and you must complete your registration within the allotted time. How do I view my registrations and family schedules?Tap the Home tab to view upcoming activities under Your Upcoming Activities or go to Account > Schedules to see all schedules. How can I withdraw from a registration?Find the activity you wish to withdraw from (via Home or Schedule) and tap Manage > Withdraw Attendees. Select the participant, tap Confirm Withdrawal, choose a refund method (if applicable), and select a cancellation reason. How do I confirm a pending registration?Look for an alert at the top of the Home tab. Tap the alert and select Confirm, or go to Account > Pending Confirmations.How do I view my personal information?Go to Account > Personal Information. To view other family members, tap Family Information. If you need to update your information, log in to the web version of the system or email recreation@brampton.ca. I am unable to add something to my cart.This is likely because the participant does not meet one or more requirements (such as age, gender, or residency). For assistance with registration issues, please contact recreation@brampton.ca.Can I use Apple Pay or Google Pay?These payment options are not available at this time. Stay tuned for future enhancements.I would like to register for a program that has optional extra fees (e.g., before and after care, manuals), but I don’t see the option.Optional extra fees cannot be purchased through the mobile app. They must be paid for either online via desktop or in person at any recreation centre. If you have already registered for the course in the app, you can still visit a recreation centre to add and pay for the optional fees.Can I add my digital membership card to my Apple or Google wallet?This option is not available at this time. Stay tuned for future enhancements.I don’t see my family members on my accountMake sure your family members are linked to your account in the recreation system. To make updates or add family members, log in via the web version. For assistance with linking family members to your account, please email recreation@brampton.ca or visit the customer service desk at any recreation centre.I’ve registered for a class and am trying to add ‘Set Reminder’ to my phone, but I receive a message stating “Locations for reminders are not supported by this account.” Why is this happening?This is due to your Apple account settings. It occurs when the default reminders list is tied to an account (such as Exchange or a non-iCloud email account) that does not support location-based reminders. To resolve this issue: Make iCloud the Default Account for Reminders Go to Settings → Reminders → Default List and set this to an iCloud list (not “On My iPhone,” Gmail, or Exchange). Enable iCloud Reminders (if not already enabled) Go to Settings → Tap your name (Apple ID) → iCloud and make sure Reminders is toggled on.Disable Non-Supported Accounts (optional but recommended) If you have an Exchange, Yahoo, or Gmail account syncing Reminders: - Go to Settings → Passwords & Accounts (or Mail > Accounts on newer iOS) - Tap the account (e.g., Gmail or Exchange) - Toggle Reminders off I need more help using the app.Please contact recreation@brampton.ca or visit your local recreation centre for support.Why am I not getting any results when I enter the barcode?Select Courses or Drop-ins, then enter the barcode (excluding leading zeros) in the search field.
