Professor's Lake Beach

Please be advised that BBQ's are not permitted at Professor’s Lake beach. Concessions are available for purchase onsite.​

A variety of snacks, food items, and beverages are available for purchase onsite at our concessions counter.​

No, we do not sell garbage tags at Professor’s Lake. Please visit here​ for updates related to garbage tag sales.

Pets are prohibited at Professor’s Lake beach area. We love pets, but please keep animals at home in cool and air-conditioned environments. Service animals are permitted with proof of service designation (ex. vest).​ Please refrain from feeding wildlife in and around the beach area.​

Yes, residents are able to bring their own non-motorized boats to the lake. A boat permit is required and is available for purchase during operating hours. Click here​ to view permit rates.​

Boat permits for non-motorized boats​ are only issued and valid during posted operating hours.​ Please click here​ to find more information regarding swimming and boating at Professor's Lake Recreation Centre (BY-LAW 161-83). ). Day and seasonal boat permits are available for purchase.​

Professor's Lake water quality is tested daily by the Region of Peel. Test findings will result in the lake being open or closed. If Professor’s Lake is closed due to poor water quality, the lake will be tested daily until the water quality becomes acceptable. Refunds will not be provided due to poor water quality.​

The minimum height requirement to ride the water slide is 39.5” or 1 (one) M tall.​

Any item used for shade must be positioned on the perimeter of the beach or behind lifeguarding towers. Please speak to lifeguards to ensure placement does not obstruct sightlines. Canopies cannot be larger than 10 x 10 and should be secured with pegs, large stakes will not be permitted.

Inflatable Water Park

Yes, lifeguards are on duty during operating hours. Adult supervision of children under the a​ge of 10 is still required at all times.​

Yes, adults supervising a child on the water park are required to purchase a ticket at the time of booking and must be actively participating/supervising their child while on the water park.​​

The depth of the water at the location of the water park ranges from 20 – 30 feet.​

Your water park ticket also includes all-day admission to Professor's Lake beach.​

The inflatable water park will provide residents a new, affordable, and fun local activity during the summer months.​

Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by and “within arm’s reach” of a guardian aged 14 years or older. There is an age requirement of 6+ years to be on the inflatable water park. A swim test is administered by aquatics staff to evaluate skill, comfort and confidence of participants. Participants must wear the lifejacket provided at all times while on the water park. Tickets can be cancelled at any time prior to the start of your booking. Missed bookings are not subject to a refund.​

Admission tickets are valid for one 50 minute time slot.  Advanced registration is recommended but not required for time slots. Purchase tickets by calling 905.791.7751 or online at www.brampton.ca/registerforprograms.​

Should we have to cancel your booking due to inclement weather or poor water quality, ticket holders will be notified via email or phone with notice of the cancellation. An account credit will be placed onto your City of Brampton recreation account.​

An inflatable water park is an in-water playground that includes unique features such as slides, obstacles and climbing structures.​

Yes, fees do apply. It is recommended that registration is completed in advance to avoid disappointment, rates are available here​.​
