If you are a Brampton resident and/or Brampton property owner, you are considered a resident and eligible to resident Council-approved fees, priority program and drop-in registration dates and timelines.   ​​​​

City of Brampton Recreation programs and memberships are subsided by tax dollars, if you are not a Brampton resident and/or Brampton property owner, you are considered a non-resident and subject to a minimum 50% surcharge fee per person, per program, per session on memberships, rentals and most programs. ​Non-residents do not qualify for discounts or priority registration dates and timelines.  ​​​​

Due to the popularity of some programs, courses fill up quickly and you may be prompted to add your name to a waitlist. When you join a waitlist, you will be contacted if space becomes available or another program is added. You will have 24 hours to confirm your spot. 

Please consider the following when choosing to go on a waitlist:

  • Only waitlist once for each program for each participant. Being on multiple waitlists does not increase your chances of getting into a program.​
  • Choose either to stay on a waitlist or register for the same program at a different time, but not both. By doing both, you limit the opportunity for another participant to enjoy our programs. Please be considerate and help us accommodate as many participants as possible.​

It is our goal to provide you and your family with positive experiences that builds great memories. If there is anything that we can do to assist in making your experience better, please let us know. On occasion, a program may not be the best fit. We want to work with you to ensure that all participants in the program are benefiting and at times, this may result in transferring, withdrawal, or providing an alternative solution.​


​Adults fifty-five (55) years of age or older are entitled to a 25% discount on all registered programs (with the exception of Inclusive Programs and Adult 55+ specific programs). Proof of age may be required at the time of registration. Material fees (if applicable) are not eligible for a discount.​​
