Launched in 2021, the Brampton BOXED program commissions local artists to create artwork that is installed on traffic control boxes throughout the city. Since its inception, the program has wrapped 44 traffic control boxes with original artwork and engaged 43 local artists in paid public art opportunities! This project highlights Brampton's voices and aims to reflect the city's diverse population, explore artists' personal connections to Brampton, and capture the spirit and stories of the community.
