Angelica Candido creates artworks and poetry inspired by her heritage, surroundings, and dreams. Each artwork becomes a narrative, a poetic journey that invites viewers to step into a world where reality and unreality coexist harmoniously. Her book, Interconnectedness, is a collection of art and poetry that navigates grief, healing, and transformation. Candido creates spaces for contemplation and connection, using art as a bridge between emotion, creativity, and shared experience. Candido was featured in Clark Centre for the Arts, Dignam Gallery, Ada Slaight Gallery, and was a finalist in the 100 Kellogg Art Competition. She received grants and support from Ontario Arts Council, JVS Toronto, The City of Brampton, and the Brampton Entrepreneurship Center. She holds a bachelor's degree in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University, and a certificate for Art and Design Foundation at George Brown College.
