Hey there, my name is Marcus and I am an artist. I love to create work that gets a smile, laugh or gasp out of the viewer - even all three, in any order, is preferred. I have always been doodling, sketching and drawing. I grew into digital artwork including graphic design, digital illustration, motion graphics, 3D, 2D and 3D animation, as well as installation and sculpture. Being an artist is the only way I have known to live my life, and moving around and trying new things is always so fun, but lately my heart has resided in turning drawings, ideas and channeling emotions through painting. I have been primarily working off of my love of pop and street art, and implementing my own artistic vision which grabs inspiration from animation, film, television as wel​l as the natural world. I aim to create work that expresses but also questions and provokes question. I believe to be an artist is having the privilege to create and express, but there is a core responsibility in art to seek the truth, as art is the most primal and instinctual human language I am most enveloped by.​
