June is Seniors Month in Brampton! Its a time to recognize and celebrate the contributions and achievements of older adults in our community. This special time is dedicated to honouring seniors and highlighting the important role they play in shaping our City. Throughout June, older adults are invited to take part in a variety of events, activities, and initiatives that promote well-being, inclusion and community connection.

​Seniors Expo and Springfest Luncheon​

Adults aged 55+ are invited to a special event in honour of June is Seniors month. Visit the FREE expo to learn about community resources, programs and services available to seniors in our community. Then celebrate with us at the Springfest Luncheon! Enjoy great company and a joyful atmosphere with a catered luncheon, entertainment provided by a DJ, a photobooth and dancing.

When: Friday, June 12, 2026

Where: Century Gardens Recreation Centre​

Expo: 10 am to 12 pm | FREE (no registration is required)

Luncheon and Dance: 12 to 3 pm (registration is required)

​Weekly Community BBQs Return to Flower City 

The Bob Callahan Flower City Seniors Centre is continuing its popular weekly community BBQ series this summer. Open to older adults at a low cost, the BBQs provide an opportunity for community members to gather, socialize and stay connected throughout the season. The first BBQ of the year will also include cake to celebrate the start of Seniors Month. 

When: Beginning Friday, June 5, 2026, and continuing every Friday through the end of September.

Where: Bob Callahan Flower City Seniors Centre​

Time: Approximately 11 am to 2 pm
