June is Recreation and Parks Month
June is recognized as Recreation and Parks Month in Ontario, celebrating the role of parks, green spaces, and recreational programming in building vibrant, healthy and inclusive communities.
This year, Parks and Recreation Ontario's theme is "Every Journey Belongs," honouring every person's unique path to wellness, activity and community connection.
The City of Brampton Recreation Services is marking the month with free programming available to residents throughout June. Participate in a free yoga class on International Yoga Day or drop in to a variety of free activities all month long as part of Brampton's commitment to accessible recreation for all.

Align your body, mind and spirit this International Yoga Day!
When: Sunday, June 21
Where: Mount Pleasant
Time: 6 to 8 pm
Admission is free. Donations of non-perishable food items are welcomed.
Bring your own yoga mat or towel. This event takes place outdoors on the lawn.
