Get up, get out and get active throughout the month of June! The City of Brampton celebrates Recreation and Parks Month and Seniors Month​ – taking place in June.

Free Drop-In Program Opportunities

Try a new activity and get moving with your family and friends! In honour of June is Recreation month, the City of Brampton is offering select free drop-in programs at Recreation Centres across the City. View available programs by expanding the lists below.​

National Health and Fitness Day​

Kick off June is Recreation and Parks Month by joining us at Chinguacousy Park on Saturday, June 3 to celebrate National Health and Fitness Day. Participate in a fitness scavenger hunt, try a Sweat and Fete cardio class, plus visit fitness and wellness booths!

  • When: Saturday, June 3
  • Where: Chinguacousy Park
  • Time: 10 am – 12 pm
  • What to Bring: Participants are encouraged to wear athletic clothing and footwear and a water bottle.
  • Registration: Not required

International Yoga Day

Namaste Brampton! Celebrate International Yoga Day on Tuesday, June 21 with a free outdoor yoga class. All ages and abilities are welcome.

  • When: Wednesday, June 21
  • Where: Mount Pleasant​ (outdoors on the lawn)
  • Time: 7 – 9 pm
  • What to Bring: Participants are asked to bring a non-slip yoga mat or towel to use on the grass and a water bottle.
  • Registration: Not required, however a donation to the food bank is appreciated.​

June is Seniors Month

In honour of June is Seniors Month, join us for free programming and a special social event. Details are available here​.

Explore Parks, Trails and Pathways

Hike, bike, walk, or along one of Brampton’s recreational trail systems, which offer more than 40 kilometres of guided and paved recreational trails throughout the city.
