June is Recreation and Parks Month
June is recognized as Recreation and Parks Month in Ontario, celebrating the role of parks, green spaces, and recreational programming in building vibrant, healthy and inclusive communities.
This year, Parks and Recreation Ontario's theme is "Every Journey Belongs," honouring every person's unique path to wellness, activity and community connection.
The City of Brampton Recreation Services is marking the month with free programming available to residents throughout June.
