Families will be notified by email by the Friday before the upcoming week of programming regarding the availability of Integration Support. Please note that Integration Support is not guaranteed and is provided based on staff availability and operational requirements. Do I have to request integrated support for each program and season? Yes. Integration Support requests must be submitted for each season and program type. Requests are made using the applicable Integration Support barcode for swim and skate programs, camps and registered recreation programs. This helps ensure support needs are reviewed and staffing requirements are assessed for each program and season. Please see the Customer Resource Guide for How to Register for Integration Support for detailed registration instructions. Can I request the same Integration Staff for my child every time? Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee staffing availability for your request as we staff based on staff availability and operational needs. If your child needs consistently for every program, it may be best to look into using External Third-Party Support Workers to guarantee the staff. Do you have integration support? Yes. Integration Support helps participants with disabilities and diverse support needs participate in City of Brampton recreation programs alongside their peers. Support is tailored to individual needs and is provided to promote a safe, positive, and inclusive recreation experience.
