Brampton Honey Badgers Summer Camp Takeover

All camps scheduled July 13 to 17 will be part of the Brampton Honey Badgers Summer Camp Takeover. Campers will enjoy games and activities, attend a Brampton Honey Badgers basketball game at the CAA Centre, have a visit with the Brampton Honey Badgers Mascot, Hammer and receive a t-shirt and give-a-aways.​

The Brampton Honey Badgers are one of the original franchises of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). The 2022 CEBL Champions Brampton Honey Badgers proudly call the CAA Centre home. The Brampton front office and basketball operations department bring NBA, NBA G League, national team, NCAA and major international pro league experience to the franchise. With a vision of promoting Brampton grassroots basketball and local businesses through community and corporate engagement, the Honey Badgers will leverage the explosion of basketball as a vehicle for innovation and change. All camps the week of July 13 will attend a Brampton Honey Badgers game on Tuesday, July 14 at the CAA Centre. The game starts at 12:30 pm.​

​All camps will be taking a school bus to and from the CAA centre during camp hours.  Campers will arrive back at their designated locations prior to camp pick up time.

An additional fee of $35 will be added to the Honey Badgers Camp Takeover Week to cover the cost of the game ticket, popcorn, transportation to and from the CAA Centre, t-shirt, and activities.  ​

If you would like to opt of the planned activities, you will need to register in person at a recreation centre to waive the additional camp fees. Please note, by opting out, your child will not attend the game or receive a t-shirt.  Campers who do not attend the game, will be able to stay at their camp location and participate in fun filled camp activities with a camp leader.​

All refunds must be requested no later than one week prior from one of the following options:

​Yes, if you are an approved ActiveAssist client, your Active Assist funds can be used for this additional $35.

​Please be advised, photos and video will be taken throughout the event which may include images of participants and staff. Please connect with your camp director upon check-in with any concerns.

​Concessions will not be available for purchase to campers. However, all campers will receive popcorn at CAA as a part of the game experience. Please ensure your camper is prepared with a packed lunch and snacks.​
