The City of Brampton is implementing a new pilot program aimed at continuing to improve and address ongoing resident concerns related to parking enforcement, property standards, illegal nuisance signs, litter and garbage and other by-law violations.
Beginning June 29, 2026, a dedicated Property Standards Officer and Parking Enforcement Officer will be assigned to a council ward pairing each day, rotating through all ten wards in the city over the course of the week. Officers will conduct proactive patrols in areas identified as having the highest number of service requests, repeat concerns and compliance failures, helping address neighbourhood challenges earlier and improving responsiveness to resident concerns.
Residents are encouraged to submit service requests through Service Brampton. Service requests, recurring enforcement trends, input from residents shared by members of Council and other community feedback help identify areas experiencing repeat violations and inform proactive enforcement efforts.
The pilot program supports the City’s continued focus on improving responsiveness and enhancing service delivery.
