By-law Fines Increasing January 1, 2026

The City of Brampton has updated administrative fines under our by-laws to help keep our community safe, well-maintained and fair. As of January 1, 2026, higher fines will apply for a range of by-law violations, including parking, property standards, snow clearing and rental housing rules.

These changes are designed to address behaviours that can put our community at risk. They encourage compliance and help create safe, respectful and well-kept neighbourhoods.

Know the rules and do your part to help keep Brampton safe and fair for everyone.
