Building Division Inspections
The Building Division provides inspections to ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and relevant City By-Laws. Inspection Services helps to ensure construction is completed in accordance with the approved plans. We also guide the homeowner or contractor in completing the construction project correctly. If inspections are not requested at appropriate times, uncovering the construction will be required.
During the COVID-19 Closure
The City of Brampton is conducting onsite inspections of unoccupied buildings, additions or unoccupied units that have an access directly to the exterior. We are also conducting remote video inspections of occupied residential buildings.
