Changes to Brampton Transit service effective September 6

​BRAMPTON, ON (August 15, 2022) – Effective Tuesday, September 6, Brampton Transit will implement service changes to ensure its transit system continues to move people around the city effectively.

The following routes will be back in service, and running on modified service levels:

• 501C Züm Queen from Bramalea Terminal to York University only (via Highway 407)
o AM peak eastbound frequency (Bramalea Terminal to York University): 7.5 minutes
 First eastbound 501C trip departs Bramalea Terminal 6:23 am
 Last eastbound 501C trip departs Bramalea Terminal 10:55 am
o PM peak westbound frequency (York University to Bramalea Terminal): 6 minutes
 First westbound 501C trip departs York University 2:30 pm
 Last westbound 501C trip departs York University 7:12 pm
• 561 Züm Queen West  
• 104 Chinguacousy Express

The following routes are returning to full service levels:

• 199 UTM Express
• Routes 200-217 iRide School Specials

The following routes remain cancelled until further notice (including weekday and weekends):

• 501A Züm Queen (501/501C still operating)
• 18B Dixie (18 Dixie still operating)
• 21 Heart Lake
• 58 Financial Drive
• 92 Bramalea GO
• 185 Dixie Express
