The New Advance Brampton Fund

Announcing the City of Brampton's new Advance Brampton Fund! In 2019, City staff reviewed the Community Grant Program to explore opportunities for strategic re-alignment, process enhancements, and meeting community need. 

The Advance Brampton Fund is the City's main funding body, funding non-profit organizations across the city. The new model focuses on scaling up projects from start-up to sustainable programs and is based on feedback from a variety of stakeholders. Opening late fall 2019, the new Advance Brampton Fund is Brampton’s largest granting fund, focusing on support of the non-profit sector in Brampton and is developed in recognition of the unique contribution non-profit organizations play in animating a city, sparking entrepreneurship, and benefitting communities. 

For questions and help with the new grant program, attend one of the drop-in information sessions listed below. Additionally, learn new skills by attending one of the Non-Profit Workshops led by The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Ryerson University. This Fund is committed to ongoing learning opportunities as a core component of the new funding structure, beginning with the workshops listed below.
