Committee Responsibilities:
This new committee will provide advice to Council on promoting equity and inclusion as key considerations in the way the City delivers programs and services. The committee will work to ensure that City programs and services align with the needs of Brampton's diverse communities. It will work to build greater awareness of City programs and services across these communities. The committee will develop and monitor the City's equity and inclusion plan.
Composition:
This committee was originally approved to include five to 15 members. Three community / association representatives (see list below) were invited to participate, by a later Council resolution.
