To help entrepreneurs, start-ups, and globally competitive innovative companies in Peel Region succeed and grow by bringing together the services of the Small Business Enterprise Centres, Regional Innovation Centre, Business Advisory Services, and the Ontario Centres of Excellence to work collaboratively and provide support, training, mentoring, and programs that meet and exceed founder needs. Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs "ONE"

one.JPGOntario Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment (MEDTE) and Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation (MRI) are excited to announce the launch of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs (ONE). The goal of this newly formed network is for Ontario businesses to benefit from the excellence delivered by the new expanded, collaborative network of entrepreneurship and innovation expertise.

An initiative still in formation (2013), the first stage is the creation of a new ONE website now live at /  Ontario's entrepreneurs can locate their closest ONE expert, find online resources and more information about programs and services to ensure that small businesses have the tools they need to grow and thrive.

A key objective is to bring together Ontario's 57 Small Business Enterprise Centres (SBECs), 17 Regional Innovation Centres (RICs) and Ontario Business Advisory Services (BAS) staff under one brand. Through the integrated framework, SBECs, RICs and BAS organizations will continue to individually provide high quality business support services, while the Network collectively assists Ontario's entrepreneurial community.

MEDTE and MRI are currently (summer-fall 2013) embarking on a strategy renewal process, which includes input from SBEC, RIC, and BAS representatives to help navigate the ONE's future direction. The launch of is just the first outcome of the strategic review.
