Have you had an idea to start your own food and beverage -based startup for a while and never knew how and where to start from? Do you have an idea that is ready to be developed into a food and beverage startup right now?
This 12 session Food Venture Bootcamp is the program you must apply for today. This is a new entrepreneurship program for food and beverage potential and early stage start-up entrepreneurs. Explore, write your business plan and receive mentorship from Canada’s best food ventures mentors.
The program is designed to accommodate 25 people only. The 25 people will be selected from a first come first serve basis, and mini virtual-pitching sessions of the ideas to our team. We want to support and guide members of our community who are ready to start and execute.
This program will run in a 2.5-hour session per week for 12 sessions.
Important Dates:
Application deadline: Wednesday, November 3rd at 4pm
Approval and notification of participants: Friday, November 5th at 12 pm (Only 25 seats available)
Program start date: Tuesday, November 9th, 6:30 pm - 9 pm
All training sessions are held virtually on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:30 pm - 9 pm.

Value proposition and business plan
Circularity and sustainability in food processing
Competitive analysis, constraints and channels
Food science and recipe development
Guidelines for food packaging and labelling
Sanitation and food safety
Financial feasibility and recipe costing
Sales for food services, retail and preparing a pitch
Mentorship and pitch feedback
Pitch competition (1st prize - $500, 2nd prize - $300, 3rd prize - $200)
