The City of Brampton has completed a Schedule 'C' Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) to facilitate the continuation of the existing Mount Pleasant GO Station access road to lands west of Mississauga Road.​

The preliminary preferred design includes:​

• Extension of Lagerfeld Drive to west of Mississauga Road with two lanes in each direction
• Urban cross-section with curb and gutter and sidewalks on both sides
• On Road separated cycle lane in each direction
