The following is a Public Works and Engineering, Service Brampton and By-law Enforcement winter operations update

UNDERWAY:
- Plowing and salting arterial roads (Areas affected by drifting snow)
- Plowing and salting collector roads (Locations missed due to parked cars)
- Plowing and salting locals and courts (Locations missed due to parked cars)
- Plowing and salting recreational trails
- Plowing and salting downtown core
- Clearing and salting Mount Pleasant Village
- Plowing and salting City-cleared sidewalks/walkways
- Plowing and salting transit stops and bus shelter pads
- Plowing and salting City owned parking lots

SNOW REMOVAL OPERATIONS:

- On Avondale Blvd (commencing from Bramalea Rd)

COMPLETED:

- School crossings cleared and salted

Staff are currently monitoring road and weather conditions. Further updates will be posted as conditions change.

Parking on streets is not permitted and will be enforced. Street parking permits are invalid. Enhanced Parking Penalties are in effect. Vehicles interfering with snow removal operations will be subject to enhanced parking penalties, and/or may be towed at the owners expense.
