Opened to the public in Spring 2018, the
Creditview Sandalwood Park is a 100-acre gem in Brampton.
The park boasts no underground drainage sewers, a “nature pond” that irrigates its soccer fields, and approximately 2,500 trees and shrubs planted throughout the park. More than 500 trees have been planted in partnership with the Credit Valley Conservation Authority to provide a naturalized environment, improve biodiversity, improve stormwater quality, and prevent erosion.
In 2025, Creditview Sandalwood Park continued to grow as a destination for sport and active living with the official opening of a full-size, high-quality cricket field, further solidifying Brampton's reputation as the cricket capital of Canada. This premier facility includes players' pavilions, a scoreboard, sight screens, irrigation, and field lighting, enhancing both recreational and competitive play.
