Brampton Transit On Demand

The BT On Demand pilot is concluding and will no longer be in service after Friday, February 27, 2026. The BT On Demand application and service will be permanently shut down.

Starting Monday, March 2, 2026, the new Route 301 Westcreek Employment Shuttle will provide businesses and employees on Westcreek Boulevard with a direct and convenient travel option, replacing the BT On Demand pilot service.

In addition, other existing Brampton Transit services will continue to operate throughout the broader service area, providing customers supplementary convenient travel options.

Quick Facts​​

  • Current Fare Policies apply to BT On Demand service.
  • Riders may book trips for BT On Demand service for the same day or 7 days in advance. Advance booking is available on the app and through the Contact Centre 905.874.2999.
  • ​Upon booking, riders will be directed to wait at these locations including the correct side of the street in order to meet the approaching bus. Please arrive at the stop 5 mins prior to the reque​sted time.Your requested “Leave at” time may be moved later by 15 minutes.

  1. Download the BT On Demand app by visiting the Google Play or Apple App Store.
  2. Create an account using your phone number.
  3. Enter your trip start and end locations.
  4. BT On Demand app will then check for available rides and give you the earliest possible ride.
  5. Select and confirm the number of passengers traveling with you, then press the Request Ride button.
  6. Users will be directed to wait at the designated location to meet the approaching bus. 
  7. Users will be required to pay when boarding the bus. Accepted forms of payment, cash, PRESTO, contactless credit, and debit.
  8. Trip updates can be found in the app and text message notifications will be provided in real time including when your vehicle is arriving!

​If riders don’t have access to a smartphone or to the website, requests can be made by phone at 905.874.2999, agents are available. 

  • Monday to Friday: between 7 am and 9 pm 
  • Saturday: between 7 am and 7 pm 
  • Sunday: between 9 am and 6 pm  
Provide the agent with your information, location, intended destination and preferred departure or arrival time. The agent will confirm and provide trip details verbally.


The BT On Demand app provides users with an estimate of your pickup time before booking. You can track your bus in real time.

You can cancel your ride at any time prior to boarding the bus. No shows will be tracked. Frequent no shows may be subject to an account suspension.

If you don’t have access to a computer, smartphone, or ability to use the app, please call 905-874-2999 and a customer service representative will be happy to assist.

BT On Demand service is available Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., excluding holidays.​

If paying cash fare, please request a transfer at the time of boarding. When using PRESTO or a contactless credit card or debit card, an electronic transfer is included with the cost of the fare, allowing you to travel for two hours from the time of issue. If you are connecting to or from GO Transit, the co-fare is automatically calculated on a PRESTO card and contactless credit or debit card.

The BT On Demand service replaces the Route 40 - Central Industrial.

The destination sign on the front of the bus will read “BT On Demand”.
