Home Voting Service

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Home Voting Service is available this year for eligible voters who are homebound due to illness, injury or disability. This appointment-based service helps increase access to voting and is part of the City of Brampton's Accessibility Plan for the 2026 Municipal Election​.

Home voting appointments will be ava​ilable from Tuesday, October 13 to Thursday, October 15​, 2026, during regular business hours. Election officials will visit eligible voters in their homes to conduct the home vote.

A maximum of 100 appointments are available.​

Other Ways to Vote

V​oters who are unable to vote on Voting Day can consider the following options:

  • Advance voting​ - eligible voters can vote at any advance voting location across the city.​
  • Proxy voting - an eligible voter may appoint another eligible voter as a proxy to vote on their behalf if they are unable to attend a voting location.

To request a home voting appointment, eligible voters must either:
  • Call the Election Office at 905.874.​2424 or
  • Complete the online form.

The deadline to request a home voting appointment is at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
