As part of the City’s Watercourse Erosion Program, the City engaged the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) to restore the following stormwater outfall locations:

• Site 1: Closest Intersection – Castlemore Rd & Humberwest Pkwy
  
• Site 2: Closest Intersection – Castlemore Rd & The Gore Rd
  
• Site 3: Closest Intersection – Kennedy Rd & Derry Rd E
  

​Over time, sediment buildup and plant growth ​affected the downstream ditches and upstream infrastructure at the outlet locations.

​The completed restoration work included:

• ​Re​move accumulated sediment and vegetation.
• Restored the sites to their original design to imrpove drainage, reduce erosion and support long-term performance of the stormwater system.

Project Timeline
