​Project Overview

As part of the City's watercourse erosion program, the City has engaged Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) to implement erosion control and slope stabilization work within Allan Kerbel Pond, along the Etobicoke Creek.

The project will address erosion concerns, by constructing bank remediation measures that will stabilize the channel slope and prevent further erosion to the park lands.

Project Timeline

Construction will begin Fall 2025 and will be completed by Winter 2025, with site restoration planned by Spring 2026.

*Please be advised that areas within Allan Kerbel Park including the trail will be closed during construction. Construction access from the Pressed Brick Drive park entrance may result in minor traffic delays and temporary closures for the duration of the project.
