Project Details
The City of Brampton has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Study for the extension of Intermodal Drive and Region of Peel watermain to Gorewood Drive. The recently-adopted Brampton Plan (2023) and the Airport Intermodal Secondary Plan (Area 4) identify the easterly extension of Intermodal Drive as a future east-west Collector Road traversing the upper midblock Gorewood properties and connecting to Gorewood Drive. The EA study will include evaluating capacity and active transportation needs, potential safety and operational issues towards achieving Vision Zero, population/employment growth and travel demand management.
