The City of Brampton has Greenspoke bike repair stations across the City—with more to come—to support local bike riding, provide access to repair tools, and help riders get back on the road as quickly as possible. These repair stations feature essential tools for on-the-go bicycle repairs, including an Allen key set, a bike pump, and various screwdrivers.

Nine repair stands can be found throughout the City in Wards 1-10, at the Sandra Hames Centre at Chingacousy Park, Franceschini Bridge, two in the Claireville Conservation Area at the north and Queen Street entrance, Andrew McCandless, Jim Archdekin Community Centre, Duggan Park, Save Max Sports Centre, and Dero Dixit by the Sheridan College Davis Library. Public Transportation and Cycling

Brampton Transit

Cycling makes it easier to reach transit, particularly in neighbourhoods where walking distances are long. Bikes can also be brought onto Brampton Transit buses, which feature bike racks on the front of all buses and bike shelters at bus stops. Only non-motorized bicycles are permitted on the bike rack; motorized bikes and scooters, e-bikes, motorized scooters, mopeds, and bicycles with child ca rr iers or trailers are not allowed on the bike r ack or inside the bus.

Bikes on GO Transit


GO facilitie​s permit bikes on their premises and for transport on GO Transit, if they adhere to their policies. Brampton GO stations feature sheltered bike racks. These local GO Stations include Mount Pleasant, Brama​lea, and Brampton Innovation District.

GO facilities permit bikes on their premises and for transport on GO Transit, if they adhere to their policies. Brampton GO stations feature sheltered bike racks. These local GO Stations include Mount Pleasant, Bramalea, and Brampton Innovation District.

Bikes can also be brought on GO Transit along with passengers. GO buses feature bike racks at the front that allow bikes to be transported with passengers. Bikes can also be brought onto trains, but only outside rush hour, except on trains with bike carts. There are restrictions o​n the number of bicycles permitted per coach, which the cart exterior will specify. There are dedicated bike coaches along the Kitchener Line. Coaches have space for up to 22 bikes and additional seating for passengers.

E-bikes

GO Transit has new restrictions on the appearance, weight and battery certifications for e-bike riders. For further information, visit the GO Transit page. GO Transit staff can inspect all e-bikes and attach tamper-proof seals to those that meet our safety requirements to help make boarding our vehicles more efficient.
