Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

As required by the Integrated Accessibility Standards under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, organizations are required to create multi-year accessibility plans and update them at least once every five years. An accessibility plan outlines what steps an organization will take to prevent and remove barriers to accessibility and when it will do so. The City’s current plan expires at the end of 2026.

The City is developing the 2027-2031 Multi-Year Accessibility Plan and is looking for your input to help shape the plan. This is an important opportunity for residents to provide feedback and suggestions to improve the accessibility of City programs, services, and facilities. Feedback may be given by completing a survey, or by booking a one-to-one meeting with Accessibility staff.
