Paid parking is available throughout downtown Brampton at the following locations:

​Due to the large scale of the event, and to ensure the safety of residents and event guests, the following temporary road closures will be in place:

Main Street:

Nelson Street/Theatre Lane to Wellington Street

Queen Street:

Fireworks by-law

The safety of residents is the City's top priority. Under the Fireworks By-law, the use, purchase, discharge, possession, display, sale and offering of fireworks is prohibited, however sparklers are permitted.

Residents are invited to celebrate New Year's Eve, where they can enjoy a spectacular City-organized fireworks display in a safe environment. Although sparklers are permitted under the by-law, they are not allowed at the New Year's Eve event.​

FREE Brampton Transit Service After 7 PM

Ride free on Brampton Transit this New Year's Eve after 7 pm with extended service offered. 

Fireworks Show Weather Notice

​Please be advised that in order to ensure the safety of event attendees, the 12 AM firework show may be cancelled due to high wind speeds or unfavorable weather conditions. Be sure to check the City of Brampton Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts regularly for updates on the status of the firework show.​​​​
