Parking Rates
The following parking rates are in effect at all municipal parking garages.
Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.)
First 2 hours free
Then $1.00 every 30 minutes
Daily maximum is $9.00
Free parking on weekends and holidays
EV Charging Stations
$1.00 per hour for the first 3 hours
Then $5.00 per hour

Pay for Parking
Pay for parking with your mobile phone (starting August 17, 2026) or at a pay station. Both options will require you to enter your licence plate number.
Pay With Honk Mobile (Starting August 17, 2026)
Option 1: QR Code
- Scan the QR code located in the garage.
- Tap the link to pay (no app download required).
Option 2: Text-to-Pay
- Text the Zone ID located in the garage to 75498.
- You will receive a secure link via text.
- Enter your licence plate and make a payment.
Option 3: HONK App
- Download the HonkMobile app (free to download for Apple and Android devices).
- Create an account.
- Enter the Zone ID located in the garage and make a payment.
- You can also pay for same-day parking in advance and extend your parking time using the app.
Option 4: Web Browser
- Visit honkmobile.com/park to pay from any web browser.
- Locate the parking garage and make a payment.
Please note there is a $0.35 convenience fee added to each transaction when paying with HONK.
Pay at a Pay Station
Enter your licence plate number at a pay station and make a payment.
Parking Permits
Monthly and annual parking permits at all municipal parking garages are available to employees of store-front businesses and students enrolled in post-secondary education located in downtown Brampton. Refer to the map below to determine if you fall within the parking permit boundaries.
Proof of employment or enrolment is required. The City of Brampton does not provide residential parking permits or parking permits for home-based businesses.
