If you have received a Penalty Notice you can either pay the ticket or request a trial to dispute the ticket. Please see below and refer to the back of your Penalty Notice for details:
Option 1: Voluntary Payment

Online payments will be subject to a $1.50 processing fee (plus applicable taxes) per Penalty Notice.

B. Payment by Telephone

Telephone payments will be subject to a $2.50 processing fee (plus applicable taxes) per ticket or fine.
C. Payment in Person

Please DO NOT send cash in the mail and allow sufficient mailing time.
Make all cheques and money orders payable to “City of Brampton” and write the number of the Penalty Notice on the front. Post-dated cheques will NOT be accepted. Dishonoured cheques and credit cards will be subject to an administrative fee and, if the period of deficiency causes the ticket due date to lapse and the fine to go into default, an additional fee will be charged and information may be forwarded to a credit bureau.
Option 2: Trial Request (not accepted by mail)
If you wish to dispute your parking Penalty Notice, you, or someone acting on your behalf, must:
1) Call Brampton 3-1-1 for Brampton residents. All others may call 905.874.2000 to schedule a Screening Review, or
2) Attend IN PERSON to schedule a Screening Review at:

NOTICE TO ONTARIO MOTORISTS - Parking Infractions
Failure to pay the fine imposed upon conviction will result in your Ontario Vehicle Permit not being renewed and no new permit being issued to you until the fine and all court costs and fees have been paid.
NOTICE TO ONTARIO MOTORISTS - Non-Parking Infractions
Failure to pay the Penalty imposed upon Affirmation will result in additional administrative fees being added to the amount owing on the Penalty Notice as set out in Schedule B of the Administrative Penalties (Non-Parking) By-law. Penalties and Fees may be added to the tax roll and collected in the same manner as municipal taxes, referred to a collection agency, or result in civil action being taken against you until the Penalty and all administrative fees have been paid.
