Celebrate Trees with Canada!

Celebrate National Forest Week (September 23rd - 27th) and National Tree Day (September 23rd) with the rest of Canada by participating in events and activities led by Tree Canada and the Canadian Institute of Forestry.

Tree Month Story Walk

In partnership with Brampton Library, we are pleased to present a tree-themed Story Walk along the exercise trail near Central Park Drive in Chinguacousy Park in mid-September. Tree Song is a Canadian book written by Tiffany Stone, illustrated by Holly Hatam, and published by Annick Press. This joyful book follows the life cycle of a tree as it grows from seedling to mature tree, and finally gives way to a new sapling.
