September is Brampton Tree Month! Come and celebrate #BramptonTrees all month long with us.

Follow us and learn more about trees and Brampton's urban forest. Snap photos of your favourite tree or trees in Brampton and share them on social media using #BramptonTrees for a chance to be featured on our channels @CityBrampton and website at www.brampton.ca/trees​.

Residential Tree Giveaway (Registration opens September 1st)

In celebration of Brampton Tree Month, Brampton residents can register for a free tree! Quantities are limited. Trees are restricted to one per household and can be planted on private property only (front or back yards). If you received a tree during our Spring Residential Tree Giveaway, you will not qualify for the Fall giveaway. Residents must register to participate and agree to certain conditions. Trees will be available for pickup in-person the weekend of September 24th. 

Tree Planting Event (Registration opens September 1st)​

In partnership with the Toronto & Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), the City will host a native tree and shrub planting at Gore Meadows Community Centre. 

Participate in Our Colouring Contest​

Sharpen your pencil crayons and download one of our tree-themed colouring sheets for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card.

Self Guided Tree Walk

Welcome to the first self-guided tree walk at Conservation Drive Park, in celebration of Brampton Tree Month! This walk will guide you through one of the city’s beautiful forests. By using the map link button, you will learn about some of the unique tree species in Brampton, how to identify them and their importance to wildlife. Have fun and happy exploring!

Celebrate Trees with Canada!

Celebrate National Forest Week (September 18th-24th) and National Tree Day (September 21st) with the rest of Canada by participating in events and activities lead by Tree Canada and the Canadian Institute of Forestry.
