Brampton residents will see an increase of 2.9 per cent on their overall tax bill in 2016 for municipal services (region, city and school boards):
For the average residential property assessed at $398,000 this equates to an increase of $124 per year on the overall tax bill for municipal services.
- $49 for day to day operations
- $54 for infrastructure repair and replacement
- $21 for the City's new and enhanced services
Approved for 2016 is:
- An operating budget of $607.0 million
- A capital budget of $113.6 million
