Public Engagement Opportunities

Ward Coffee Chat Sessions

From January 18 to 25, 2026, residents are invited to drop in to in-person meetings with the Mayor and local Councillors, held in ward pairings, to share ideas, solutions and community priorities.

Council Meetings

Council will be holding special meetings to discuss the 2026 Budget on these dates:

Monday, January 19, 2026 - 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Tuesday, January 20, 2026 - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Friday, January 23, 2026 - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Tentative Budget Approval: Tuesday, January 27, 2026 - 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Friday, January 30, 2026 - 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (if needed)

Location: All meeting sessions will be held in the Council Chambers, 4th Floor, City Hall (2 Wellington St West) or residents can watch the sessions virtually.

Public Delegations

Delegations from the public are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 10:00 am and Friday, January, 23, 2026 at 9:00 am. If you wish to speak one of the 2026 Budget meetings, please contact the City Clerk's Office at least two (2) hours before the meeting begins at cityclerksoffice@brampton.ca.
