The Intergovernmental Affairs and Advocacy team includes the centralized grants portfolio realizing efficiencies and generating additional revenue for the City. External funding plays a key role in offsetting expenses and making the most of every dollar. The external funding portfolio is focused on non-tax revenue generation through the pursuit of grant funding.
The City pursues external grant funding from both the public and private sector. To date, this has proven to be a significant and essential source of funding that enables the City of Brampton to successfully:
