The nomination period for the 2026 municipal election will begin on May 1, 2026, and end on August 21, 2026, at 2 pm. Information on becoming a candidate, including the required forms, will be available closer to the nomination period.
In partnership with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, the City will host an information session on April 20, 2026, from 7 - 10 pm for potential candidates and third party advertisers. Click here for more information and to register.
