BRAMPTON, ON — The City of Brampton invites residents to stay active, creative and connected with a fresh lineup of fall recreation programs and winter break camps. From indoor sports leagues and fitness classes to arts, wellness and early years programming, there is something for every age and interest this season.
Key dates for residents
- All fall programs are viewable as of Monday, August 4 at 12 am.
- Registration for most programs, winter break Camps and the fall session of Brampton Sports League begins on Monday, August 18 at 6 am.
- Registration for Learn to Swim and Learn to Skate programs begins on Wednesday, September 3 at 6 am.
- Fall session programs will run from Monday, September 15 to Sunday, January 4.
- Winter Break Camps will run from Monday, December 22 to Friday, January 2.

Register for Winter Break Camps
Beat the boredom this winter break! Keep kids and youth active, engaged and having fun with the City of Brampton’s exciting day camps. Choose from camps such as Camp Winter Fun, Camp Einstein, Camp Kids in the Kitchen and Camp Sports, which offer programs for kids and youth ages 4 to 6 and 6 to 13. The City is also offering Camp Inclusive: No Limits for participants living with disabilities, with sessions for ages 6 to 13, 14 to 20 and 21 and older. Explore the sport programs offered by the City and youth sport organizations at Brampton’s Sports Day
Try something new at Sports Day, a free bi-annual event hosted by the City of Brampton in partnership with the Brampton Sport Alliance (BSA). Join us on August 23 from 10 am to 4 pm at Cassie Campbell Community Centre and meet local sports groups, enjoy live demos and learn how to get involved. Collect a passport, try three sports and enter to win a prize pack! With more than 20 groups participating, this event offers a fun way to explore community sports. Brampton Sports League fall 2025 season
The Brampton Sports League returns for the fall 2025 season, featuring exciting opportunities to play basketball, cricket, flag football, touch rugby, ultimate frisbee and volleyball at the Save Max Sports Centre. Whether you're a seasoned player or just getting started, it's a great way to stay active, meet new people and have fun. Registration begins on Monday, August 18 at 6 am. Newly expanded 65+ Annual Recreation Membership
The City of Brampton extended the free 70+ Annual Recreation Membership to include residents aged 65 and older. Eligible residents can enroll in the newly expanded membership. Starting June 1, 2025, those enrolled will be able to access the City’s wide range of recreational programs and services at no cost through the new free 65+ Annual Recreation Membership. Residents can visit any City of Brampton recreation centre to verify their eligibility and enroll in the new membership. Recreation program registration resources
Online registration
To ensure a seamless online registration process, residents are asked to:
- Make sure you can log in to your online account in advance.
- Check your personal information on your account to ensure accuracy.
- Browse programs in advance of registration day and make a shortlist.
- Add your credit card information to your account in advance. We can no longer accept financial information over the phone or via email.
- Use the date range filter and select the next session date to browse available courses.
- Do not refresh the page while payment is being processed.
- The Google Chrome browser provides the best user experience.
Patrons will be added to a virtual waiting room on the day of registration to ensure a fair and equitable process and help improve the online registration experience.

Patrons can visit a recreation centre to register for programs.
Verify Your Recreation Account to Keep Your Resident Benefits
Brampton residents are encouraged to verify their Brampton residency to continue enjoying priority registration and council-approved resident rates for City recreation programs. Simply bring an acceptable form of valid photo ID with your proof of Brampton address to any recreation centre Customer Service Desk and staff will confirm your residency and update your account on the spot. Verification is quick, valid for two years and helps ensure uninterrupted access to resident benefits. The deadline to verify your residency and keep your resident benefits is October 1, 2025. Financial assistance for residents through ActiveAssist
ActiveAssist, generously sponsored by 407 ETR and Capital Power, is a fee subsidy program offered by the City of Brampton, designed to help low-income individuals and families in Brampton participate in recreation programs. This program is available for Brampton families who qualify. Approved applicants each receive a $275 credit, which can be used toward a wide variety of ddrop-in and registered programs and memberships.
