BRAMPTON, ON (October 15, 2020) –The City has extended its hours at City Hall on the following dates for residents and businesses to pay their property taxes:
- Tuesday, October 20
- Wednesday, October 21
- Tuesday, November 17
- Wednesday, November 18
Extended hours of operation will be 8:30 am to 8 pm. To pay property taxes at City Hall, residents must book an appointment beforehand on the City of Brampton website.

Residents are reminded that appointments are required before visiting City facilities for in-person City services. Walk-ins are not permitted. Appointments can be booked, rescheduled and canceled on the City’s website.
There are a number of alternative secure and convenient ways to pay property taxes:
- At a bank or other financial institution
- Internet/telephone banking through financial institutions
- Pre-Authorized Tax Payment Plan

Earlier this month, City Council approved to suspend all interest and penalties for overdue property tax payments until December 31 to provide additional financial relief for residents and businesses in this difficult time. All amounts must be received by the City before December 31, to avoid further penalties and interest from accruing on any overdue balance at that time.
