BRAMPTON, ON (September 22, 2023) – The City of Brampton is pleased to welcome back Culture Days for another year. Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture that invites Canadians from across the country to explore, discover and participate in arts and cultural events while celebrating the diversity that makes up Canada.
Culture Days aims to foster appreciation and support of the artistic and cultural life that is lived, created and expressed across the country in urban, suburban and rural areas alike, promote direct interaction between creators and the public as a key to increasing understanding and appreciation of art and culture and affirm that every citizen is the guardian of the cultural life of his, her or their community.
This year, from September 22 until October 15, Brampton residents are invited to participate in Culture Days events and discover the world of artists, creators, historians, architects, filmmakers, curators and designers at work in the community. Together with the Brampton Arts Organization, Brampton Library, Peel Art Gallery Museum and Archives (PAMA), and Brampton’s creative community, the City will offer free, hands-on, interactive activities for residents to explore.
