Advance Voting begins October 7, 2022!

​BRAMPTON, ON (September 27, 2022) Advance Voting in the 2022 Brampton Municipal and School Board Election begins on Friday, October 7. Advance Voting will be held for five days in October.

Advance Voting takes place on October 7, 8, 9, 14 and 15, 2022. A full list of dates, locations and times is provided below. Voters can also use the interactive tool on the City’s website to find the Advance Voting location closest to their residence.

  • Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9, 10 am to 5 pm

    • Cassie Campbell Community Centre, 1050 Sandalwood Pkwy W
    • Gore Meadows Community Centre, 10150 The Gore Rd
  • Friday, October 14, 12 pm to 8 pm, and Saturday, October 15, 10 am to 5 pm

Some of the Advance Voting dates occur over the Thanksgiving weekend to make it more convenient for all voters to vote, including eligible students who may be home for the long weekend.

Additional Highlights

  • To vote, take a piece of identification showing your name AND Brampton address, and the Voter Notice you received via Canada Post mail, to any of the Advance Voting locations.
  • If you did not receive a Voter Notice, you may not be on the Voters’ List, but can be added to the list at the voting location. You must bring the required ID.
  • If you requested to be added to the Voters’ List or updated your information online, you must also bring a piece of ID to the voting location.
  • All Advance Voting locations will have an accessible voting unit available for use.
  • If you cannot make it to an Advance Voting location or on Voting Day, find out more about proxy voting.
  • Voting Day is on Monday, October 24. This year, Diwali and Bandi Chhor Diwas also fall on Monday, October 24.
  • On October 24, you can vote at any location within your ward. You can find the list of locations in your ward on the City’s website.
  • Refer to the FAQ section on the City’s website for any other questions related to voting.
