Shop local and support Brampton’s arts community at the Brampton Summer Artist Market

​BRAMPTON, ON (July 12, 2022) – The City of Brampton’s Arts, Culture and Creative Industry Development Agency (ACCIDA) invites residents to support local artists and connect with Brampton’s arts community at their inaugural Summer Artist Market. On Saturday, July 16 from 11 am to 5 pm, the Summer Artist Market will feature 25 Brampton artist vendors and local arts organizations inside The Rose Brampton, including:

Shop a wide range of local artworks including paintings, prints, ceramics, jewelry and more while mingling and enjoying live music by DJ ROSHANIE. While at the Summer Artist Market, stop by the Brampton Farmers’ Market, presented by Meridian Credit Union, from 8 am to 1 pm, located on Wellington Street between George Street and Main Street South and in Gage Park.

Transformation underway in Downtown Brampton
Downtown Brampton is undergoing a transformation. The Region of Peel is leading a project to replace watermain and sanitary sewers in the area. As a result there are several road closures in effect. Please plan ahead when heading to the Summer Artist Market.

Market Square Parking Garage
The City of Brampton will be completing maintenance repairs to the Market Square Parking Garage and, as a result, it will be closed temporarily from June 27 to July 22, 2022.

Parking will continue to be available in Downtown Brampton for visitors and businesses at the following

municipal parking lots and garages:

• John Street Parking Garage, 16 John Street
• City Hall Parking Garage, 2 Wellington Street West
• West Tower Parking Garage, 41 George Street
• Nelson Square Parking Garage, 9 Diplock Lane
• George Street North Surface Parking Lot, 20 George Street North
