Experience Brampton all summer long with a lineup of festivals and events

BRAMPTON, ON (May 19, 2022) – The City of Brampton has an exciting summer of festivals and events ahead for the whole family to enjoy. From May 20 to September 11, residents and visitors are invited to enjoy Summer in the City; a 114-day season featuring nearly 100 days of programming that include:
  • ​Festivals and events such as Pride 2022, National Indigenous Peoples’ Day and Canada Day;
  • Community-led events such as World of Jazz and Vibrant Brampton;
  • Weekly programming like the beloved Brampton Farmers’ Market and Movie Nights; and
  • So much more!

The City of Brampton is excited to welcome residents and visitors back to in-person events across the city that celebrate Brampton’s diversity, encourage civic pride, activate public spaces, and highlight the arts and culture scene.

The City of Brampton’s events calendar will act as a one-stop-shop for summer event planning. Event organizers are invited to populate the calendar with details to help promote their events across the city as well. To add an event to the calendar and see what is scheduled, visit brampton.ca/events. Events will continue to be added throughout the summer.

Downtown Revitalization
Downtown Brampton is undergoing a transformation, led by the Region of Peel to replace watermain and sanitary sewers in the area. As a result, there are several road closures in effect. Plan ahead if you’re heading downtown for a festival or event.
