City of Brampton hosting Parks Cleanup Days in May

BRAMPTON, ON (May 4, 2022) – As part of the city-wide Parks Cleanup, the City of Brampton is hosting organized Parks Cleanup Days for each ward pairing in May. Join Councillors and the City’s Parks department at the events throughout May to help keep Brampton clean and green.

Registration is required for each event. Attendees will be provided with cleanup supplies on the day of. Visit www.brampton.ca/cleanup for the full schedule and to register for these events.

The City’s annual Parks Cleanup brings families, friends, community organizations, businesses and school groups together to help remove litter at parks and green spaces across Brampton. The cleanup helps remove litter that has accumulated, promotes community engagement, and creates healthy vibrant spaces, and supports the Brampton Grow Green goals.

Residents and groups can also host self-led cleanups at local parks. Simply select a park, register the cleanup from April 1 and November 1, allow five business days for the delivery of cleanup supplies, and complete the cleanup on the chosen day.

The City thanks its residents for doing their part to keep our city clean and green year-round.
