Join Brampton’s first Environmental Celebration and Grow Green Awards Ceremony

BRAMPTON, ON (April 14, 2022) – As part of Earth Month, the City of Brampton is hosting its first ever Environmental Celebration and Grow Green Awards Ceremony on Earth Day weekend.

The Environmental Celebration and Grow Green Awards Ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 23 from 10 am to 2 pm at Norton Place Park, located at 170 Clark Boulevard.

This free event is open to the public, and will feature City of Brampton departments, local community groups and non-profits as part of an environment-themed community fair, activities such as nature walks and treasure hunts, and a kids’ zone. The event is supported by the Brampton Environmental Advisory Committee and Brampton Environmental Alliance.

The Grow Green Awards Ceremony will take place at 11:30 am, celebrating and recognizing outstanding individuals and organizations that have demonstrated environmental leadership and significantly contributed to Brampton’s Grow Green Vision of conserving, enhancing and balancing our natural and built environments to create a healthy, sustainable and resilient Brampton.

The Grow Green Awards are generously sponsored by ARGO Development Corporation.
