Construction began on April 18, 2022 and the majority of Region of Peel works are completed with minor outstanding scope expected to be completed in conjunction with City of Brampton streetscaping works.

The Region of Peel has been working in downtown Brampton to replace the aging watermain and sanitary sewer along Queen Street. This work is required to maintain and improve existing water and wastewater services.

Businesses remain open throughout the construction period.
