Annual Events

Mayor’s New Year’s Day Levee (January)

Come out, meet Brampton’s Mayor and celebrate a new year.

Mother’s Day Tea (May)

Historic Bovaird House, 563 Bovaird Dr. E.

Period costumed staff present afternoon tea as it should be served, midst the charm of a bygone era. Reservations required.

Rotary Rib ‘n’ Roll (May)

Gage Park, Main St. S. & Wellington St. W.

Kick off your summer with ribs, rock ‘n’ roll and rollerblading at the Rotary Club of Brampton’s fantastic event for the whole family, all to raise funds for Tour for Kids.

Brampton Farmers’ Market (Saturdays, June - October)

Main St. and Queen St., downtown Brampton

Main Street, between Theatre Lane and John Street, is turned into a vibrant outdoor festival marketplace. Visitors gather to buy the freshest local Ontario produce, preserves and baked goods from more than 40 vendors. Enjoy live entertainment and “Art in the Open” in Garden Square, beside the market.


Queen St. & Main St., downtown Brampton

Join in the celebration at the City of Brampton's kickoff to "Summer Fun in The City" for a fun packed day of free food, entertainment and activities for all ages. The City of Brampton has combined the annual Brampton Day event with the Flower City Parade. Enjoy spectacular parade floats brimming with brightly coloured blooms, marching bands, costume characters, and much more! 

Brampton Horticultural Society Annual Garden Tour (June)

This self directed tour of some of Brampton’s private gardens is an opportunity to see a variety of garden designs, to talk to the gardeners and be encouraged and inspired.

Inspirational Music In The Park (Tuesdays from June to August)

Gage Park, Main St. S. and Wellington St. W.

Enjoy a variety of music, dance, free books and more. Bring a lawn chair. Refreshments available.

Investors Group Thursday Night Concert Series (Thursdays from June to August)

Chinguacousy Music in the Park, Summer Concert Series (Sundays from June to August)

DMG Chinguacousy Park, 9050 Bramalea Rd.

The Chinguacousy Concert Band and Chinguacousy Swing Orchestra present a summer season of wonderful music each year in one of Brampton's destination parks.

Canada Day (July)

Enjoy an amazing fireworks display, fun activities and live entertainment and celebrate Canada Day in Brampton!

Carabram, Brampton’s Multicultural Festival (July)


Tour the world through Carabram. Experience the rich culture, food, crafts, drink and entertainment of the diverse ethnic communities of Brampton. Purchase your passport to tour the world!

Brampton Wingfest (August)

A two-day festival featuring local restaurants serving delicious chicken wings, fun activities for the kids, a beer garden and live entertainment. Free admission.

Brampton Fall Fair (September)

An event for the whole family! Activities include: demolition derby, Campbell’s midway, horse shows, dog shows, baby show, agricultural education area, vendors, livestock shows, and antique and classic car show.

Culture Days (September)

Culture Days is a collaborative Canada-wide, volunteer movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.

Take part in any one, or all, of the variety of activities being held in Brampton during Culture Days.  All events are FREE.

Brampton Board of Trade Santa Claus Parade (November)

Main St. – Sproule Dr. to Elgin Dr.

Lights, music and merriment . . . join in welcoming Santa to Brampton. Find a spot along Main Street and see twinkling floats, marching bands, over 200 costumed characters and so much more

Victorian Christmas Open House

Historic Bovaird House, 563 Bovaird Dr. E.

Decked out in Victorian finery, the museum heralds Christmas with its Open House and Craft Sale. Enjoy mugs of mulled cider beside the blazing fire.

New Year’s Eve (December 31)

Main St. & Queen St., downtown Brampton

Free, family friendly outdoor concert and New Year’s Eve celebration. Two fireworks displays at 9pm and Midnight. VIP Passes available.
