Address: Brampton Soccer Centre - Field House C (1495 Sandalwood Parkway East, Brampton, ON L6R 0K2)

This artwork is one of four murals commissioned by the City of Brampton for the indoor multi-sport field houses at the Brampton Soccer Centre. These murals are a vibrant celebration of sport, community, and creative talent. They reflect Brampton’s growing role in developing athletes and building community through sport. Each artwork captures themes of perseverance, identity, teamwork and the journey of growing the game, while recognizing the diverse communities that support young athletes on and off the field.

Every artist's story begins somewhere. Mine begins in Brampton.

Before murals and international projects, my world was shaped by the neighbourhoods of Heart Lake and Springdale. Growing up near Sandalwood, Kennedy, and later Dixie Road, I spent my childhood in the parks, sports fields, schools, and community centres that define everyday life in Brampton.

I attended St. Leonard's, St. Agnes, and later Notre Dame Secondary School, where sports became a major part of my life. At the same time, art was quietly becoming my path. What began as a personal creative outlet evolved into a career creating large-scale public murals across Canada and internationally. Yet the lessons that continue to guide my work were first learned here in Brampton.

This mural is my way of giving back to the place that helped shape both the person and artist I became.
