Culture Days Background
Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. Each fall, millions of people attend thousands of free participatory arts and culture events across the country—both in-person and online. These events invite the public to get hands-on and behind-the-scenes to highlight the importance of arts and culture in our communities.
In 2026, Culture Days takes place from
September 18, 2026 to October 4, 2026.
The City of Brampton is excited to support and amplify community-led programming by providing funding for free, arts-based, participatory events. We aim to champion individuals and groups working in community-engaged arts.
Brampton had an outstanding year in 2025, ranking #1 in Urban Centres and #2 overall in Canada for Culture Days participation. By participating in 2026, together we will build on this success and contribute to a thriving arts scene in our city!
