Voters' List

​The Voters' List identifies people who are eligible to vote in the 2018 Brampton Municipal Election, by name, qualifying address, school support and residency.  

The Voters' List is put together for each election based on information that is held by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC). 

Checking the Voters' List​ 

To check if you are on the Voters' List, click the button below. You will be asked to enter your name, date of birth and address in the requested fields.  

To prevent unauthorized access to your personal information, this search tool only works if the details you enter are an exact match with what appears on the Voters' List. Any deviation will result with a message indicating that a name cannot be found on the Voters' List. Here are some tips to help you find your name on the Voters' List. 

Not on the Voters' List? 

If, after checking the Voters' List, you cannot find your name, you can: 

  • Complete an Application to Amend the Voters' List (E1815) form at the City Clerk's Office at City Hall, or at any voting location; or
  • Contact the Election Office for more help.

​Information collected using the Am I on the Voters' List tool is collected under the authority of s.17 and s.24 of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, and s.15 and s.16 of the Assessment Act, and will be used to determine voter eligibility. Questions about the collection of this information should be directed to the Program Manager, Elections at 905.874.2424.
Pursuant to s.89(h) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, a person providing false or misleading information on this form is guilty of an offence and liable, upon conviction, to a fine of not more than $25,000.
